Doug Goff leads a team of experienced real estate professionals responsible for the overall residential sales, marketing strategy and commercial initiatives for Johnson Development. In addition, he jointly oversees the relationship management and negotiations with homebuilders with Co-President Michael Smith.
Prior to assuming his current role as Co-President in March 2017, Mr. Goff served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, a position he held since 2005. Mr. Goff also served as General Manager of Johnson’s Sienna Plantation, a 10,000-acre master-planned community in Fort Bend County and one of the top-selling MPCs in the United States. His involvement in other large-scale master-planned communities includes projects in Austin, Texas, Vero Beach, Florida and Lafayette, Louisiana.
A Fort Bend County resident for more than 26 years, Mr. Goff’s service to the community includes involvement with the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council, Fort Bend Independent School District Education Foundation, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, Greater Houston Builders Association and the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Goff earned a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU and a Masters in Management from Purdue University.
