Doug Goff leads a team of experienced real estate professionals responsible for the entitlement, permitting, planning, conceptual design, engineering, construction and marketing of Johnson Development Corp.’s portfolio of communities. In his role, Mr. Goff is responsible for the management of development of over 44,500 acres with entitlements for 74,000 residential units and 16,600,000 square feet of retail / commercial space in Houston, Dallas and Atlanta. Over the past 20 years, Johnson communities have created more than $25+ billion in new taxable value for municipalities, school districts and counties.
Prior to assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer in 2005, Mr. Goff served as General Manager of Johnson’s Sienna Plantation, a 10,000-acre master-planned community in Fort Bend County and one of the top-selling MPC’s in the United States. His involvement in other large-scale master-planned communities includes projects in Austin, Texas, Vero Beach, Florida and Lafayette, Louisiana.
A Fort Bend County resident for more than 26 years, Mr. Goff's service to the community includes involvement with the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council, Fort Bend Independent School District Education Foundation, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, Greater Houston Builders Association and the Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Goff earned a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU and a Masters in Management from Purdue University.
