Grand Central Park - Run Away Hunger at Grand Central Park, June 14

Get ready for a morning of fitness, fun and philanthropy at Grand Central Park as we gear up to host the annual Montgomery County Food Bank Outrun Hunger 5K and 1K Color Dash.

The festivities will kick off bright and early at 7 a.m. at The Lake House, 1039 Lake House Drive in Conroe. Serious and not-so-serious runners can challenge themselves on the 5K course while others can dive into the untimed 1K Color Dash for a splash of fun (colored powder use encouraged). Run, walk or skip. It’s entirely up to you!

The Party Pavilion will be the real star as it serves up live music, mouthwatering eats from food trucks, Instagrammable photo ops and a kid’s zone bursting with activities. 

Last year’s record-breaking squad of 465 turned their miles into 205,000 meals. Not too shabby, huh? This year, the Food Bank is hoping to up the ante. Every $1 raised provides up to 4 meals.

Registration fees are $50 for the 5K Trail Run/Walk which provides up to 200 meals for those facing hunger. The $30 fee for the 1K Color Dash provides up to 120 meals. Want to take it to the next level? Gather your friends, family or coworkers and form a team for even more fun.
