Kresston - Derek Skelton Headlines July Summer Days and Country Ways Concert

Texas evenings are made for live music, starry skies and good company, and we’ve got the perfect way for you to spend one — the July Summer Days and Country Ways Concert at Kresston, 6 p.m. Friday, July 25 at The Boot House.

The star of the evening is Derek Skelton. If you haven’t heard of him yet, don’t worry — thank us later for the introduction. Derek brings a fresh mix of modern melodies and good old-fashioned country storytelling. Think smooth vocals and lyrics that hit you right in the heart. His breakout single, Can’t Outlove Me, landed him the 2020 Off The Row Breakout Artist of the Year award. Yeah, he’s kind of a big deal.

Oh, and did we mention he’s an Air Force veteran? That’s right, this guy’s got a story worth telling. Derek was even featured in the streaming series Artisan Air, which highlights the creativity of Airmen and Guardians. So, not only does he sing like a dream, but he’s also served his country. Honestly, we’re starting to wonder if there’s anything he can’t do.

The Summer Days and Country Ways Concert Series is part of Kresston’s larger Summer Days and Country Ways Home Tour.
