Imperial - Imperial Sugar Land development to include 'French-Quarter'-style townhomes

October 16, 2013

The Imperial Sugar Land development will include 27 town homes designed to attract young professionals and “active” empty-nesters with French Quarter-style open living floor plans,  a builder said in a Monday announcement.

Trendmaker Homes, one of the homebuilders selected for the 716-acre  master-planned community, said in a statement that the new one- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 1,900 to 2,9000 square feet will be the latest housing development there.

Trendmaker Home president Will Holder said the spaces will have dining, “gourmet” kitchen and family rooms all in one area. The two-story floorplans will include a master suite and living spaces on the first floor with extra bedrooms on the second floor.  They will be built with detached, three-car garages. Maintenance will be done by the neighborhood association.

“Our new townhomes in Imperial are for those who are ready for a casual, carefree lifestyle,” Holder said in the statement. “They are typically empty nesters and young professionals who want the value of home ownership without the hassle and worry of home maintenance.”
