Harmony - Harmony Schools Shine in Recent School Rankings

Schools attended by Harmony families performed quite well in the 2014 public school rankings conducted by the nonprofit research and advocacy group Children at Risk.

Cox Intermediate earned a spot at the top of the class with an A rating, Broadway Elementary and York Junior High both earned a rating of A- while Oak Ridge High School earned a B- rating.

Children at Risk ranked every Texas public school was ranked across three indexes: Student Achievement (reflecting raw performance in key achievement areas); Campus Performance (measuring the effectiveness of the people and programs at a campus); and Growth (measuring the improvement over time in standardized testing).

Families in Harmony also can choose from several outstanding nearby private schools and day cares including an on-site Children’s Lighthouse Center, serving children from six weeks to 12 years of age.
