Harmony - Medical Center Complex Near Harmony Underway

CHI St. Luke’s Health, part of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and one of the nation’s largest health systems, has purchased 23 acres in Springwoods Village minutes from Harmony (just south of The Woodlands) with plans to construct a medical center by late 2015. The $110-million medical campus will house a 55,000-square-foot ambulatory medical center and a 100,000-square-foot medical office building with space for more than 30 physicians where emergency services, diagnostic imaging and outpatient surgery will be available.

The project also includes a long-term master plan with a 300-bed hospital and more than 600,000 square feet of medical office space.

Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, CHI operates 89 hospitals in 18 states; including four academic medical centers; 23 critical-access facilities; community health services organizations; accredited nursing colleges; home health agencies; and other facilities that span the inpatient and outpatient continuum of care.
