The largest collection of professionally decorated homes for the holidays returns to Cross Creek Ranch when the west Houston master-planned community hosts its 2014 Fall Home Tour, open weekends October 4 – 26, showcasing the talents of local designers in each of its 20 model homes.

A who’s who of local designers and decorators will showcase their talents as they present amazing Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s decorations and holiday entertaining ideas in each home. While touring the homes, visitors can pick up design ideas for entries and living rooms, dining tables and family rooms, staircase banisters, fireplace mantels and more.

Each of the decorated model homes is open daily: weekdays from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon – 5 p.m.

Cross Creek Ranch is located minutes west of the Grand Parkway at the intersection of FM 1463 and 1093. Maps to the model homes are available in the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center. There is no charge to enter the decorated homes and cameras are welcome.

The top interior design talents charged with turning the 20 model homes in Cross Creek Ranch into holiday show stoppers include Enchanted Landscapes & Nurseries of Richmond, the interior design specialists at Cru Home of Missouri City and holiday interior design expert Regina Gust.

Special touches throughout the homes include confections from The Sweet Tooth Shoppe of Fulshear, gifts and accessories from Gaby’s of Fulshear and art and gift items from The Brookwood Community, the non-profit residential facility in Brookshire which cares for adults with special needs.

As part of its fall celebration, Cross Creek Ranch also will host the Fulshear Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 18 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. where families can walk amidst rows of full-size, living scarecrows, enjoy live music, an all-new carnival and food trucks, apple bobbing, face painting, pumpkin decorating and more. Admission into the festival is free and open to the public. All-day carnival tickets are $5 per person. Music and entertainment will be provided by the students of Huggins Elementary, Randolph Elementary and Simonton Christian Academy.

With homes from the $200s to the millions, Cross Creek Ranch continues to be one of the nation’s most sought-after master-planned communities, attracting buyers with an impressive selection of new homes ready for move in, outstanding public schools and new amenities which embrace its natural surroundings.
