Cross Creek Ranch - Cross Creek Ranch Residents Now Enjoy Blazing Internet Speeds

March 15, 2016

Residents of Cross Creek Ranch are now racing along the information superhighway at some of the fastest speeds possible, thanks to a new service by telecommunications giant AT&T.

Rolling out in select areas of Houston, U-verse with AT&T GigaPower gives customers some of the fastest online speeds available. According to the company estimates, home Internet speeds up to 1Gbps allow customers to download 25 songs in less than one second, a favorite television show in three seconds or a high-definition movie in about 36 seconds or less. U-verse with AT&T GigaPower is a 100 percent fiber network.

“This is a boon for Cross Creek Ranch residents, not just for the entertainment value, but also for the many residents who work from home on occasion,” said Rob Bamford, general manager of Cross Creek Ranch. “Having such quick download speeds facilitates greater work efficiency, no matter how large of a file is involved.”

Cross Creek Ranch residents can choose U-verse with AT&T GigaPower combined with a U200 TV Package that offers a DVR with a one terabyte hard drive, the ability to watch up to six shows at once and storage for 900 hours of standard programming or 330 hours of high-definition recordings.

Tempting residents to turn off the television or computer is an array of outdoor amenities, including a disc golf course, water play at Adventure Island, the Canine Commons dog park, the Polishing Pond and Boardwalk nature area and Arbor Sports Park with tennis courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball court and playgrounds. Also on-site is Italian Maid Café and a recreation complex with a 6,000-square-foot fitness center.

Details on the new U-verse with AT&T GigaPower are available here.
