Harmony - New Fire Station Coming to Harmony

A new on-site fire station is coming to Harmony!

The South Montgomery County Fire Department has started construction on a new fire station, its first since 2012, at 3560 Discovery Creek Blvd.  

Besides providing Harmony residents with added peace of mind, the new station is expected to help the department maintain its coveted ISO Class 1 rating for performance, staffing, training and water supplies.

The ISO Class 1 rating, earned by fewer than 200 of the nation’s fire departments, is based on statistical information provided by the for-profit Insurance Service Office.   As a result, Harmony residents could realize the lowest possible rates on the fire protection portion of their homeowner’s insurance policy.
