EZ Tag-Only Hardy Toll Road Eases Drive Times

Harmony - EZ Tag-Only Hardy Toll Road Eases Drive Times

August 29, 2016

There’s good news for Harmony residents who work in downtown Houston or rely on the Hardy Toll Road to get around.

Located just minutes from Harmony, the Hardy Toll Road has been converted to an EZ Tag-only roadway, a transformation which eliminates stop-and-go cash payers, thereby enhancing mobility and reducing drive times to and from downtown Houston.

In another improvement, the widening of the Hardy Toll Road to three lanes from FM 1960 to the Grand Parkway is about 70 percent complete with construction wrapping up in early spring 2017.

The widening also includes a Grand Parkway interchange at the Hardy Toll Road, clearing the way for a drive straight into Harmony off the parkway’s Rayford Road exit.
