Sienna - Eat Fresh, Eat Local at Sienna Farmers Market Jan. 22

Purchase fresh produce directly from local growers at the Sienna Plantation Community Farmers Market, 1-5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22.

The free public market takes place one Sunday each month at the Fort Bend community’s train depot parking lot, 9600 Scanlan Trace, featuring organic fruits and vegetables, as well as locally crafted items.

Sienna Plantation holds the market in conjunction with the resident owners of SweetNes Honey. Other scheduled vendors include Great Harvest Bread, FIT Brine, Plant-It-Forward, Yonder Way Farm, 4 Paws Gourmet Dog Treats, Texas Fresh Juice, Texas Olive Ranch and more.

While browsing, buyers will be treated to live entertainment. Food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages for purchase.

Sienna Plantation hosts a number of activities throughout the year such as festivals, 5K and 10K runs and charity events. Homes in the community are priced from the $200,000s.
