Viridian Adds Hundreds of Homesites, 5 New Parks

Viridian - Viridian Adds Hundreds of Homesites, 5 New Parks

March 16, 2017

Master-planned Viridian in north Arlington continues its expansion with new homesites and amenities.

The community’s newest section, Savanna Park, opened in February and features 362 homesites ranging from 33 feet to 75 feet. Water views and cul-de-sac properties are available, and builders are offering single-family homes priced from the $300,000s in the new neighborhood.

Many of the homes in Savanna Park face green space, with five parks being added to the extensive list of neighborhood parks already offered in Viridian. The parks include a linear green space that rear-alley homes face and Savanna Plaza, a 1-acre park designed for exercise and events.

Late last year, Viridian introduced 138 homesites in the Trinity Park neighborhood. Four new parks — including two waterfront gathering spaces — also are in Trinity Park. Also starting construction last year was a new model home park where builders will showcase 16 new model homes, most of which opening by April.

With this latest expansion, 1,732 homesites have been developed in Viridian, a project of Johnson Development Corp. Upon completion, the community will be home to approximately 5,000 families.

Thirteen builders offer homes priced from the $230,000s to more than $3 million in Viridian: CB JENI Homes, CastleRock Communities, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Grenadier Homes, Highland Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Normandy Homes, Plantation Homes, Windmiller Homes and custom builders Glendarroch Homes, Struhs Builders and Village Homes.

Award-winning Viridian is one of the only master-planned communities in Texas designed to meet Audubon Gold Signature Standards. The 2,000-acre development offers 500 acres of open space and additional 500 acres of lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands. Viridian is located south of Highway 183 and north of Interstate 30 approximately 20 minutes from downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth.
