Helping Girls Stand Tall

Harmony - Helping Girls Stand Tall

July 20, 2017

Johnson Development is all about community, striving to not only make our own communities a better place, but the surrounding area. That’s why sister communities Grand Central Park, Harmony and Woodforest have recently made a $750 contribution to TWST4Girls (Together We Stand Tall) as part of The Grant charitable campaign.

Through The Grant program, the three Johnson Development communities take applications from Realtors to award grants of money or time to a favorite charity. Monetary grants are up to $750 and the donations of time are up to six hours. The grants are given each quarter.

It is an opportunity for us to partner with our Realtors, many of whom are aware of wonderful organizations in our area that could use a helping hand.

Natasha Starghill, a Realtor with Champions Real Estate Group, nominated TWST4, where she mentors young girls. TWST4Girls, a 501(c)3 organization, serves youth ages 11 to 17 through mentoring, life skills development and exposure to intellectual and cultural experiences. It is the first charitable organization to receive The Grant.

If you are a Realtor and want to help your favorite charity, apply now for a grant to be made in early October. For more information, click here.
