Trinity Falls - McKinney Square Favorites: Louisiana St. Grill

June 16, 2015

During the cool month of January in 2012, Louisiana St. Grill was established in McKinney Square. The restaurant sought to bring a casual, yet upscale, dining experience to the lovely folks of McKinney, Texas. They succeeded.

This McKinney Square favorite offers a soothing ambiance with modern décor. Walk in and you'll be greeted by the delicious aroma of homemade cuisine. Before we get into the food, let's talk about the handcrafted cocktails they serve. No matter what type of drinks you enjoy, there is something that will surely please your pallet. For a south of the border-inspired drink, try The Rose of Jalisco. It contains Patron Silver Tequila, Patron Citronage, fresh lime juice, Grand Gala Liqueur, fresh orange juice, and simple syrup. If you're someone who enjoys the simpler things in life, try the Bulleit Toddy. This drink has 3 ingredients: Bulleit, clover honey syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Moving on to the dinner menu, we suggest starting with the Shrimp and Cheese Stuffed Jalapenos. These roasted jalapenos are stuffed with diced shrimp and cream cheese. They are then wrapped in hickory-smoked bacon and served with creamy ranch. For your meal, there are endless options to choose from. From soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and meat, you'll surely find something that catches your eye. For example, the Crab Trap New York Strip is a 14oz. wood fired cut with creamy Cajun crawfish. This meal is served with mashed potatoes and sautéed broccoli. Hungry yet? Take a peek at the full menu here.
