Numbers Don't Lie

Cross Creek Ranch - Numbers Don't Lie

July 18, 2018

When it comes to being a top-selling community, numbers don’t lie and with the release of the latest report published by Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO), we can say, without a doubt, that our numbers are stellar.

The real estate consulting firm’s mid-year list ranks Cross Creek Ranch as the No. 2 best-selling master-planned community in Houston, the No. 4 community in Texas and No. 25 in the nation. Rankings are based on home sales for the first half of 2018. So far, we’ve sold 246 homes and counting. That’s a 16 percent increase in sales compared to last year. It also moves us up six spots from our No. 38 ranking in 2017.

Why are our numbers so high? It could be our exciting line up of 12 award-winning builders offering home choices to suit any lifestyle. It could be our ever-expanding list of amenities including our newest pool complex, Greenthread Park. Our 6,000-square-foot fitness center is nothing to sneeze at either.

Then there are our schools. We are zoned to two well-respected districts — Katy ISD and Lamar CISD. Some of our young residents even ride their bikes to our on-site elementary schools — soon to be joined by on-site junior high and high schools.

Of course, one of our main attractions is the care we put into making our community sustainable, something we have focused on throughout our 10-year history. Whether its restoring Flewellen Creek to its full glory, planting trees or making homes for indigenous birds and other wildlife, we are committed to the environment.

Cross Creek Ranch is one of six Johnson Development communities to be named among the 50 top-selling master-planned communities. Sienna Plantation in Missouri City nabbed the No. 15 spot. Viridian in Arlington was No. 26. Harmony in Spring weighed in at No. 30. Woodforest in South Montgomery County was ranked at No. 38 and Riverstone took the No. 41 spot.
