We Keep Schools Close and Kids Closer

Cross Creek Ranch - We Keep Schools Close and Kids Closer

August 30, 2018

If you’ve got kids, you’ve got an interest in schools. Specifically, you want them to attend great schools, preferably as close to home as possible. That’s why a move to Cross Creek Ranch makes sense. Our schools are either onsite or within 2 miles of our beautiful community.

Young Cross Creek Ranch residents are zoned to two great school districts — Katy ISD and Lamar CISD — where highly trained teachers prepare them for future success.

Katy ISD has opened two elementary schools within our community. Kids can walk or bike to Randolph or Campbell elementary schools — sometimes without even crossing the street.

Campbell Elementary opened its doors this August. The Katy school district also broke ground on two more schools in April. Next year, an on-site junior high school will open, followed by an adjacent high school in 2020. That means within two years, students zoned to Katy ISD schools will be able to start and finish their entire educational journey right here in Cross Creek Ranch.

Students zoned to Lamar CISD attend Huggins Elementary, Leaman Junior High School and Fulshear High School. Leaman and Fulshear are state-of-the-art schools that opened just two years ago.

Lamar CISD is unique in that the district has sixth-grade-only campuses (middle schools) that focus on the needs of pre-adolescents, providing a smooth transition to secondary schools. Roberts Middle School located next to the junior high and high school is currently under construction and scheduled to open next year, which means all students will be attending schools located just around the corner from Cross Creek Ranch.

Great schools, close by. What more could a parent ask for?
