Stop and Smell the BBQ at New Dickey’s

Cross Creek Ranch - Stop and Smell the BBQ at New Dickey’s

November 08, 2018

The smell of authentic Texas barbecue is wafting our way, and we can’t wait to dig in now that the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is open.

The fast-casual barbecue chain opened its first Fulshear area restaurant last month in the Market at Cross Creek Ranch shopping center, 27120 Fulshear Bend Drive. For those of you who have never tried Dickey’s (not that we can think of anyone, but you never know), the restaurant offers traditional mouthwatering barbecue such as melt-in-your-mouth brisket, tasty chicken, pulled pork, turkey and even sausage.

Delectable sides include a to-die-for macaroni and cheese, fresh biscuits, fried okra, salads and more. There’s even a holiday menu that will save you from slaving away in the kitchen. You’ll need to order ahead, but they have everything from smoked turkey with all the fixings to pecan pie.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is the latest to open in the Market at Cross Creek Ranch. Anchored by the massive H-E-B, new tenants include Massage Heights, Coco Crepes Waffles and Coffee and Twin Liquors Fine Wine and Spirits.

The 140,000-square-foot market is nearly complete. The tenant list also includes Natural Pawz, Venetian Nails and Postal Plus Copy Center.

Phase 2 of the development involves 11 acres of property north of the H-E-B and will offer a mix of general retail and restaurant tenants. Another 11 acres with an anticipated 50,000 square feet of space may be developed for additional retail, restaurant and service uses. It is expected to be complete by late 2019.

Welcome Dickey’s — we’ll be over real soon!
