Fantastic Fall Events at GCP

Grand Central Park - Fantastic Fall Events at GCP

September 11, 2023

At Grand Central Park we love fall. The color of the leaves, the cooler air and the holiday activities just make sweater weather better. That’s probably why we host so many fantastic fall events. Want to join us? Several of our events are open to the public — like these:

September Showcase

What better way to get a feel for fall at Grand Central Park than touring our community? During our month-long September Showcase, you can tour our nine beautifully decorated model homes, shop our central retail and check out our parks. Don’t forget to register at our model homes for a chance to win a $250 Hyatt Regency Hotel gift card and a $250 gift card to Hand & Stone Massage.

Community Garage Sale

Bargain hunters, rejoice! The Grand Central Park fall community garage sale takes place 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. Pick up a map of participating homes from The Finding Place or The Lake House, then shop ‘til you drop! You’re sure to discover unique treasures, and you might even meet the people destined to become your new neighbors.

Sip & Shop

More than 100 vendors — many of them local — will be displaying their one-of-a-kind wares at The Lake House, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7. It’s a great opportunity to cross everyone off your holiday gift giving list while relaxing with wine, beer and the company of your favorite shopping buddies.

Car Show at Grand Central Park

Cruise around Grand Central Park taking in the beauty of classic cars 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25. There will be vintage roadsters, muscle cars, European autos, exotic vehicles and more along with a DJ, face painter, balloon artist and food trucks.

Food Drive

In November, we will be hosting a food drive for the Montgomery County Food Bank. Donating is easy — just bring a non-perishable food item to The Lake House or The Finding Place. The most needed items include canned chicken and salmon, juice, peanut butter, dried and canned beans, healthy snacks, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and grains.

Toy Drive

Put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season by donating a new and unwrapped toy. You can drop off the item at The Lake House or The Finding Place Dec. 1-10. The Conroe Police Department will distribute the donated toys to a local non-profit organization working with children.

Holiday Photo Contest

Grab those matching holiday sweaters and head to The Lake House to snap some holiday pictures. We are setting up a holiday-themed backdrop guaranteed to make those holiday cards shine. Enter your favorite in our photo contest to win a prize at the end of the holiday season.
