What is the Realtor Academy Program? The JDC Realtor Academy Program is a specialized training designed to equip Realtors with the knowledge and tools to excel in new home sales. It covers essential topics like financing, lifestyle selling, taxes, associations, and development and also features industry experts and builders.
Who is this program for? This program is ideal for agents who are new to the industry, new to the area, or looking to expand their expertise in new home sales.

Application & Selection Process
How do I apply for the program? Realtors must submit an application starting April 1. Applications will be reviewed, and 30 agents will be selected for the North Houston program and another 30 agents will be selected for the South Houston program.
When do applications close? Applications close on April 22nd.
How will I know if I’m accepted? Realtors will receive an email confirming their acceptance into the program after the selection process is complete.
Is there a cost to participate? No, this program is offered at no cost to selected Realtors.
Schedule & Commitment
When do classes start and how often do they meet? Classes for Class of 2026 begin May 27th and will be held bi-weekly through August.
Where will classes be held?
North Houston Classes will be held across our participating communities: Grand Central Park, Amira, Briarley, Everly, Grange, Jubilee and Kresston. Specific locations will be provided upon acceptance.
Souther Houston Classes will be held across our participating communities: Sienna, Cross Creek West, Candela, Harvest Green and The George
What happens if I miss a session? In order to graduate and get a certificate, you must attend at least 5 of the 6 events.
What is the arrival policy?
Each session begins promptly at 10:00 AM.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed to accommodate unforeseen delays.
However, if you arrive after 10:15 AM, you will not be permitted to join the class, and it will count as your one allowable absence for the program.

What is the lifestyle photoshoot, and how does it work? Graduates will receive a professional lifestyle photo to elevate their personal branding and marketing materials.
Will there be ongoing support after the program? Yes! Graduates will gain exclusive access to networking opportunities, continued education, and builder contacts.
