How Realtors Can Use AI to Work Smarter, Not Harder

Artificial intelligence is a game changer, much like cell phones and computers, destined to become something you never knew you needed until you had it. And when used strategically, AI can be a powerful tool in your business, especially for real estate agents.

That was the message delivered earlier this year in our ChatGPT Workshop at Kresston, a nearly standing-room-only event that delivered tangible, real-world value on how ChatGPT can enhance productivity and creativity. The class focused on practical ways agents can use ChatGPT as a highly effective business tool.

Listing Description

Write an MLS description for a [bed/bath/sq ft] home in [neighborhood]. Emphasize [3 top features] and weave in lifestyle language. Max 250 words; avoid cliché real-estate filler.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

List 30 search engine optimization keywords that [target audience] use to search for how to [end result].

Objection-Handling Script

Role-play a hesitant seller who thinks, “I’ll wait for rates to drop.” Then draft my four-line response that educates, emphasizes, and books an appointment.

Comparative Market Mini Report

Summarize a comparative market analysis for [address]. Give bullet point summaries of the three closest sold comps, one pricing recommendation, and a confidence level 1-10.

Closing Gift Ideas

Suggest 10 memorable and budget-friendly closing gifts for buyers relocating to [area]. Include a one-line explanation of why each gift feels local.

Social Media Hooks

You are a social media expert. I am a real estate agent in the ____ area. My target client is [list price point, buyer, seller, investors, downsize, relocate, etc.]. I need you to come up with 50 hook ideas that address pain points and misconceptions/misunderstandings, educate, and convey to my target audience that I am a credible expert.

You can also ask ChatGPT to rewrite an email or other written communication to it conveys a particular tone within a set word count. Not sure if your AI prompt is good enough? Ask ChatGPT to refine it.
