Conroe ISD Earns Honor Roll Status

Harmony - Conroe ISD Earns Honor Roll Status

December 22, 2014

Conroe Independent School District has been named to the College Board’s 5th Annual AP® District Honor Roll.  The District is one of 547 across the United States and Canada, and one of only 29 in Texas, to be awarded this honor.

Honor Roll Districts must demonstrate an increased access to Advanced Placement coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams over a three-year period. In 2014, 3,630 Conroe ISD students took 8,001 exams representing a significant increase over the 3,004 students who took 6,525 exams in 2012.

AP courses provide opportunities for students to learn at a college level while also earning credit or advanced standing at many of the nation’s colleges and universities.
