Harvest Green - Meet Our New Crop of Chef Fest Chefs!

A new crop of talented local chefs will be making their debut at our 3rdannual Chef Fest noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, and we thought you would like to meet them.

Each of our chefs has taken time to visit us and create videos discussing their food philosophy. You can view those on the Chef Fest website. Most of the chefs are usinglocal ingredients as part of their menus.

Ticketsare on sale now and include all food and five drink tickets for adults 21 and over are $95 for adults, $30 for children ages 5 to 16 and free for ages 4 and under. A VIP experience is available for $130 and includes access to on-site parking, a unique dessert experience and a private lounge with a bar serving premium cocktails. A portion of the proceeds benefits I’ll Have What She’s Having whose mission is to support women's health initiatives.

This year’s roster includes:

Richard Knight

A leader in the Houston culinary scene, Richard Knight opened internationally famous Feast. He is a James Beard Southwest Semi-Finalist. This spring, he will open Atlas Diner within the Bravery food hall.

Paul Lewis
British-born, Paul Lewis’s culinary career spans four-star restaurants in England, Ireland and the United States. He is the executive chef for Vinny’s, Indianola and Miss Carousel in Houston.

Evelyn Garcia
Chopped Champion Evelyn Garcia is the founder of Doyennes Dinner, a woman creative collective supper club, and is the chef and owner of Pop-Up Factory. She also is the Chef in Residence at The Decatur Bar.

Dawn Burrell
The Executive Chef of modern Southern restaurant Kulture in downtown Houston, Dawn Burrell can usually be found at the local farmers’ market sourcing ingredients for her “global comfort food.”

Patrick Feges
Patrick Feges is a self-taught pitmaster and graduate of the Texas Culinary Academy, Le Cordon Bleu in Austin. He opened Feges BBQ with his wife Erin Smith in March 2018.

Sky Hanka
Referring to herself as Culinary Wildflower, integrative chef Sky Hanka offers a conscious and restorative herbal approach to cooking. She works at educational farm, Blackwood Land Institute.

Tony Luhrman
The chef and owner of the award-winning El Topo food truck, Luhrman is committed to hand-made food, seasonal produce, and responsibly sourced meat.

Jonny Rhodes
After training at high-profile restaurants across Houston, Jonny Rhodes found success with Jensen Chronicles — a pop-up restaurant serving serious southern African American-inspired eats. He recently launched Restaurant Indigo.

Alvin Schultz
MasterChef finalist Alvin Schultz brings his innovative approach to flavors and food to Mind Body Fuel where he has created a meal subscription plan that helps clients achieve overall better wellness.

Jane Wild
Baker extraordinaire Jane Wild is known for the award-winning Jane and John Dough Bakery in Tomball. She currently leads the culinary team at Dunlavy Kitchen.
