Woodforest is Picture-Perfect

Woodforest is Picture-Perfect

October 26, 2020

There’s no denying the beauty of the Woodforest community. From our inviting parks to stunning homes along tree-lined streets, there’s an appealing ambiance to our community that is undeniable.

And while there are many picturesque spots within Woodforest, we have three to recommend for your next family photo:

Our largest park, Christine Allen Nature Park features 33 acres of greenspace and lakes. The long, steel bridge is an ideal backdrop. Pose your family on the bridge and take a photo from the shoreline or take your picture from the bridge itself. With a forested background, it will be a lovely photo.

The bridge isn’t the only picture-taking opportunity to be found in Christine Allen Nature Park. We recently installed an oversized structure in the park that will help you frame the perfect photo — literally!

A temporary backdrop can be found at The Palm. We have an oversized pumpkin at The Palm where many families have already taken fall-themed photos. The pumpkin will be up through mid-November.

Of course, there are many other noteworthy places to take a photo — Wallaroo Park with the colorful Sona Play Arch, the family Fido running leash-free at Admiral Bark Park or a young angler pulling a fish out of one of our lakes. If you have a beautiful Woodforest photo, share it on our Facebook page — we’d love to see it!
