All Jazz, All Afternoon April 30

Grand Central Park - All Jazz, All Afternoon April 30

April 08, 2022

It’s Jazz Appreciation Month, and Grand Central Park will be swinging during Jazz Fest, 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 30.

We will be showcasing Houston’s most exciting and innovative local artists at The Lake House, 1039 Lake House Drive. Taking the stage will be Sheri Lavo, Tianna Hall and Jaime Casco and Boomtown Brass Band.

Lavo is known for her ability to effortlessly transition from rocking funky blues to romantic bossa nova. Hall is a Grammy© recognized vocalist mentored by Duke Ellington Orchestra Pianist Marsha Frazier. Casco is a versatile entertainer who has performed all over the world. Boomtown Brass Band is Houston’s only traditional jazz group.

The Boomtown Brass Band will be leading a Second Line Parade at 3:30 p.m. Festival attendees will also be treated to a balloon artist, face painters and family-friendly activities.

Hungry jazz aficionados can purchase Cajun-inspired food from Couyons Cajun, The Hallow Food Truck and Conroe Party Connections. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. Parking is available at 925 City Central Ave, Conroe, TX 77304.

While you’re jamming, why not step over to our model home park where you can pick up decorating ideas or even a brand-new home!
