What are your plans for spring break? Don’t have any yet? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Fort Bend County offers plenty of attractions for families to enjoy. Veranda residents can easily visit any and all of them, so you might want to add touring our model homes to your activity list.

Spring Break Destination Celebration

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, March 11-18
$15 per person
It’s Destination Imagination at the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center all week long. The spring break bash includes crafts, games and activities as well as a 360-degree photo booth, juggling feats by Juggler Noah, storytime, giant blue blocks, a magic show, superhero training with PJ Masks and more.

Spring Break Water Week

Houston Museum of Natural Science Sugar Land
9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, March 11-18
$25 adults, $16 children
Dive into a week of water fun and learn all about conservation of one of our most precious resources. Included with your general admission ticket. 

Golden Age of the Cattle Drive

George Ranch Historical Park
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays, March 11 and 18
$15 ages 13+, $10 ages 4-12, free for 3 and under 
Grab your cowboy hat and head out for some old-fashioned western fun. Watch as park cowboys rope, wrangle and round up cattle while celebrating the history of cattle drives.

Natural Texas

Fort Bend Museum
9-11 a.m., Tuesday-Friday, March 14-17
$5 plus museum admission
Explore Texas’ natural wonders with investigation stations, sensory bin nature play, chalk creations, creating mini-gardens, picnicking on the lawn, nature-themed book tastings and more. 

Spring Break Fun Days

Rosenburg Railroad Museum
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, March 15-17
$9 adults, $6 children
Add to your train-spotting fun with three days of spring-themed activities such as water fun, code breaking and more. 

Movies Under the Moon

Sugar Land Town Square
6:30-8 p.m. Saturday, March 11
Free
Kick off spring break with a showing of Rise of the Guardians under the stars. The movie follows the adventures of Jack Frost and a team of holiday characters as they attempt to thwart Pitch Black from giving children nightmares. 

Brazos Bend State Park

8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily
Free
Take advantage of the spring weather and make plans to walk, hike, bike, fish, picnic and more at this spectacular state park.
