Jordan Ranch - We’re Having the Best Summer Ever

What kind of summers at Jordan Ranch are residents having? Only the best ever! There are a lot of reasons for that, but our amenities are at the top of most residents’ lists. Here’s a typical summer’s day.

Summers in Texas are hot, but our residents aren’t worried. When they wake up, they can head to our air-conditioned fitness center. The state-of-the-art gym is easy to walk or jog to via our 5-mile trail system. There, they can take a group exercise class or go solo on the treadmills, exercise bikes, free weights and more. 

With a morning workout under their belts, they are ready to cool down at the pool. While the kids are splashing, the adults are relaxing on in-water loungers or beneath shady cabanas. Tots can play in the fountains and water sprayers of our splash pad. Another cool thing to do is grab an inner tube and float down our lazy river.

As evening begins to set in and temperatures start to drop, parents take their kids to one of our three playgrounds. While the kids, climb, swing and slide, parents can sit on the benches talking, making playdates and enjoying the evening. 

Older kids and teens can usually be found playing on the sports fields. Sometimes it’s fun and sometimes it’s in preparation for the middle or high school soccer or football teams. Our tennis players love that our tennis courts which are lighted so they can get in a few strokes in the evening. 

Another evening activity residents enjoy is heading back to the pool for more swimming and a neighborhood barbecue. Everyone brings something to throw on the grill, including seasonal produce grown on Sunset Farm. Our 1.5-acre farm produces a lot of veggies, fruits and herbs. Residents pick up their favorites at our weekly farm stand. 

Some evenings, residents gather at The Shed or the pool for events planned by our lifestyle director. Summer activities include luaus, ice cream parties, movies under the stars and pool parties. Kids can attend camps and adults enjoy cooking classes, among other activities.
