A Day in the Life of a Cross Creek Ranch Resident

Cross Creek Ranch - A Day in the Life of a Cross Creek Ranch Resident

July 10, 2023

We talk a lot about the beauty of Cross Creek Ranch, its strong sense of community and its vibrant lifestyle. Not sure what that means? Here’s a typical day in the life of Cross Creek Ranch residents:

As the sun rises over Cross Creek Ranch, many residents start their day with a stroll or jog along our picturesque trails. With miles of interconnected trails, it's the perfect way to enjoy the serenity of nature and get some exercise. Along the way, they usually wave hello to fellow joggers or residents walking their dogs. Fitness stations found in parks, playgrounds and four trailside locations offer opportunities to add strength training to cardio workouts.

Residents who prefer indoor workouts head to our 6,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness center. Some will meet up with their workout buddies for a yoga or Zumba class. Others will hop on the treadmill. The center also features spin cycles, free weights and personal trainers.

Afterward, residents head off to work. It’s pretty easy given our great Fulshear location. During the school year, kids zoned to our onsite Katy ISD schools walk or ride their bikes. Young residents zoned to the nearby Lamar CISD schools will be able to walk to a new onsite LCISD elementary school next year.

On weekends during the summer, families head to any of our three pool complexes. Kids love Adventure Island Waterpark because of the 140-foot water slide. They also enjoy the Splash-n-Spray Park. Adults can relax poolside or get in a few strokes in the dedicated lap lanes. Flewellen Creek pool is where the Cross Creek Krakens swim team practices. Even if you aren’t part of the team, you can still get some laps in. Greenthread Park offers a resort-style pool, water slides, playground, pavilion, sand volleyball, event lawn and trails.

Throughout the year, you will find many residents kayaking, paddling and enjoying some catch-and-release fishing on our lakes. Another great spot to hang out at is our beautiful Polishing Pond. Families often pack picnic lunches to enjoy at our many playgrounds and parks. Cross Creek Ranch teens take a lot of selfies near our whimsical art displays.

In the afternoons and early evenings, pet parents unleash family Fidos at Canine Commons. Arbor Park and The Links at Flewellen Creek are great places to challenge friends and neighbors to a game.

Evenings are often spent at one of the many events planned by our dedicated lifestyle director. We’re talking concerts, festivals, clubs, classes and more.

At the end of the day, residents retire to their gorgeous homes already planning how to spend the following day.
