Give Thanks by Giving Back

Imperial - Give Thanks by Giving Back

November 15, 2017

Give more than thanks on Turkey Day, give back to your community. Many families do not have the means to enjoy the holidays without donations of food, money and time. Fortunately, there are several local organizations ready to help you help others. Here are some of our favorites:

East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry
Ongoing
435 Stafford Run
Stafford, Texas 77477

Baskets are distributed during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and offer everything needed to cook a traditional holiday meal, including a turkey. Current needs include stuffing mix, pie filling, sugar, flour, evaporated milk, sweet potatoes, chicken broth, green beans or corn, chicken and turkey gravy, canned pumpkin, cake mix and frosting, boxed pie crust, instant mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact the Ministry to see what their current needs are.
