Woodforest Unwraps Tree Lighting Celebration Nov. 22

November 20, 2019

Woodforest is spreading holiday cheer throughout Montgomery County as we prepare to unwrap our 1stannual tree lighting ceremony from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22.

Everyone is invited to join us at Christine Allen Nature Park, 5831 Woodforest Parkway South, for a free, festive evening of holiday carolers, cookies and cocoa and photo opportunities in Santa’s sleigh. Children can meet a real-live elf and drop their letters to Santa in our special mailbox. (We have a direct line to the North Pole.)

At 6:15 p.m. we’ll be lighting up our 25-foot Christmas tree with more than 5,000 bright lights.

Can’t make it? Our dazzling tree will take center stage all season long so drop by anytime. You’ll also be able to drop off a letter to the jolly old elf and take adorable holiday photos in our sleigh.

Our model homes will be open, as well, so if you plan to give your family a new home for the holidays, our builders will be more than happy to help you out.
