Grand Central Park Releases Final Homesites

Grand Central Park - Grand Central Park Releases Final Homesites

January 26, 2026

After nearly a decade of shaping a community where outdoor enthusiasts thrive, Grand Central Park is officially moving into its last phase of development with the release of the last 250 homesites to our family of builders.

In December, GCP delivered 159 homesites to builders David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, and Westin Homes. These final homesites come in various sizes, ranging from 45 feet wide to 60 feet wide, offering options for almost every size family and type of lifestyle. The final homes are expected to sell out by the third or fourth quarter of 2027.

It’s been quite the run for our community, which started out as a former Boy Scout camp. Johnson Development acquired the more than 2,000-acres in 2013, with a commitment to preserving a large portion of the forested land.

Today, approximately 50 percent remains in its natural state, and our residents have access to 10 miles of authentic hiking trails and several natural lakes — including the 88-acre Grand Lake. The Lake House amenity complex and event center opened along Grand Lake in 2021.

Over the years, Grand Central Park has become more than a community, it is the vibrant, beating heart of the Conroe area adding more retail, restaurants, and office space.

That growth includes 336 Marketplace which opened in 2018, offering more than 250,000 square feet of retail. City Central along Interstate 45 followed a couple of years later and is home to Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, shopping and dining at Marcel Boulevard, and the Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel & Convention Center.

Our community is currently home to 4,000 residents. We have room for just 250 more families. Will you be one of them? Visit Grand Central Park today, before time runs out.
