Woodforest Scores Spots on Top 50 MPCs Lists

Woodforest Scores Spots on Top 50 MPCs Lists

January 10, 2019

Woodforest’s combination of varied home choices, outstanding amenities and hometown atmosphere has again placed us among the top 50 master-planned communities in the nation.

We earned the No. 36 spot on the Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO) annual report and No. 41 on John Burns Real Estate Consulting’s list of the 2018 top-selling communities. Rankings are based on home sales for the year. We sold 365 homes — an 8 percent increase.

In addition to ranking master-planned communities, the prestigious lists identify the factors and trends that contributed to their success.

Communities that offer active adult neighborhoods were particularly popular, as were those with numerous builders offering budget-friendly home designs.

That comes as no surprise to us. Active adults are drawn to Bonterra, our active adult resort community where they enjoy a lively social scene, opportunities to stay fit with a range of amenities and homes sized to fit their needs.

With homes priced from the $180,000s, Woodforest is able to accommodate almost any budget, — from cute townhomes and bungalows to the multi-million dollar homes dotting our Pine Island enclave.

Beyond the beautiful homes, you’ll discover our small-town atmosphere, which encourages residents to get to know each other through bountiful clubs and activities. You won’t lack for amenities either with our Forest Island recreation complex, the Woodforest Golf Club, Stampede Sportsplex and plentiful parks.

Woodforest joins five other Johnson Development communities on the lists including Harmony in Spring, Riverstone in the Sugar Land area, Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear, Sienna Plantation in Missouri City and Viridian in Arlington.
